a note about myself
Music is the essence of any good movie, and often the only redeeming quality of a bad one. I have always been overcome by a well-executed dramatic musical climax on screen. My favorite movies are ones that come to life with a bold fanfare, an eccentric waltz, or a rich, romantic melody. The number one goal I have as a composer is to inspire the same kind of emotional connection I have always had with classical music and film scores.
I have spent the past 25 years absorbing musical styles from my revered romantic and modern composers, including Tchaikovsky, Ravel, Prokofiev, Vaughn Williams, and Stravinsky. These influences have culminated my very own musical language that I hope many people will be able to appreciate.
